Sell Timeshare On Ebay

Once you're gross income reaches a certain level of middle class, you'll probably be asked to attend a timeshare presentation. If you have not already, you will almost certainly in the future. Sometimes the request takes you by surprise.

My wife and I were staying in a cheap hotel near Charleston, South Carolina for a trip weekend. As we walked down the beautiful streets of Charleston, a man nice called and asked us if we wanted to take a tour of their station. He said they had had it restored and we offer a gift certificate $ 75 plus 2 "ghost tour" tickets so we took a tour 90 minutes from the station.

"I'm not a dummy, I thought. I would crazy not to take on his offer. It might even be fun to visit the resort for anything, but if he was offering a free night on the town, then it is an offer too good to refuse. We had to give him $ 10 to "ensure our place" on the tour.

While we waited, my wife and I appreciated the station complex outdoor landscapes as we sat on a stone bench next to a beautiful fountain. We both swore we would never actually buy a timeshare here (for the moment we realized they would probably try to sell us something). We knew we could not afford. We just wanted the free gifts. We returned an hour and a half later, got our $ 10 and has sat and waited a little longer.

The personal visit has finally begun. The rooms were very elegant. Was almost like a museum visit, but we were being paid! What a deal! Then came the powerful selling point. We do not know what we would have. About 3 hours later we were ready to buy. The seller had us convinced – it is such a great financial sense. Encore 2 hours later, we signed all the necessary forms to become owners. They even sent a runner out to get us lunch at Subway (free), while we waited. What People Are Nice.

Driving home, we were a little nervous that we made a big mistake. We were also stunned we had owned a part-time experience great. A few days later, as I do with almost every purchase, I checked online to see if I got the best deal. We paid about $ 12,000 for our timeshare note. (We could not get allow this, but the seller told us that we could rent it for what cover the payments.)

Well, I found that a timeshare unit Similar has been selling on eBay for about $ 2000. My heart sank into my stomach as I realized that I had overpaid by approximately $ 10,000. I ran through all my contracts. It seemed like hundreds of items in the stack we came home with.

Finally, I found my golden ticket. God was very good for me that day. I found the termination clause, which essentially says I was free to terminate the contract at any time within 5 days after the date on which I had signed. It was three days. In fact, it was 4 days if they counted on Sunday. Did they count on Sunday? I was in a frenzy. I needed to cancel this thing officially, maybe tomorrow.

I actually considered making an emergency plane ride, the seat of the timeshare company in Florida to ensure it is withdrawn. I got a hold of someone from the company, which says that I could FedEx overnight for them.

I left my share timeshare. What a relief. Now he was on the resale market for timeshares to get a real deal.
